NYC is one of the biggest fashion capital after all. With all the hard work each stores put in their window displays to compete with each other, they deserve to be recognized.
Among all the great holiday displays this year, here are my picks:
Lord & Taylor - Gingerbread and pastries!
I think Lord & Taylor's holiday display from last year is better though, but you can be the judge!
Bergdorf Goodman - Extravagant with massive blings
Macy's - interactive window display in collaboration with the new Snoopy movie
Do you see that iPad piano on the bottom left corner? If you tap on that screen, the giant piano in the window display will follow as you play. |
Speaking of department stores' movie partnership, Bloomingdales's had collaborated with Star Wars: The Force Awakens and work closely with iconic designers to create a series of couture pieces that will be put up for auction benefiting the Child Mind Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming mental health care for children.
