This Brooklyn Hot Spot Is Absolutely Worth Visiting

This cool industrial conversion is part of the Food Hall @ Industry City.

This Brooklyn hot spot should be on top of your NYC bucket list right now.

I've wanted to introduce this Brooklyn gem for a while. Last week, I finally got a chance to stop by one early weekday morning at the Industry City in Brooklyn to take some decent photos without too much interruption.

Industry City, a 16-building complex that offers six million square feet for office and retail usage, is located in the factory district of south Brooklyn. Within one of those buildings, on 36th Street, there is this "Food Hall", a winding corridor in the style of Chelsea Market lined with vendors selling a wide range of food from pork sandwiches, pasta to cookies, cupcakes and ice cream.

Let's take a look - The corridor:

And here are the vendors:

End's Meat made to order sandwich shop

ReCaFo  Caribbean food

Burma Noodle Bar

Liddabit Sweets from baked goods to candy and chocolates

Steve & Andy's cookie store

Ninja Bubble Tea

Blue Marble Organic Ice Cream

Last but not least, the Cafe & Lounge

And there is live performance in this lounge from time to time!

This outdoor seating area is also part of the Food Hall, perfect for sunny days, where you can watch the beautiful sunset while munching on your food!

The Industry City Food Hall is easily accessible by D and N train, just one block away from the 36th Street subway station.

I think this industrial conversion is a great idea. It made good use of space in a previously abandoned area. But what do you think about this place? Share with us if there is a similar industrial conversion in your country!

(Please note: All photos in this post are taken by me, except the one with me in it, so please be respectful and do not use them without my consent. Thank you.)
