The One Best Thing You Can Do on Christmas Day #NYC

Christmas day can be very quiet in New York City as most department stores and small shops close on this day. But there is one thing you can do. Let's get into it.

Although all department stores close on Christmas, their holiday windows will remain lit up. So what else better to do than checking out the famous NYC window displays on Christmas day!

Here are a few winners this year:

Macy's in my opinion is the best among all. Miniature display has always been Tiffany's tradition, but Macy's is showing off their version of mini NYC this year. Below photo will give you a sense of the miniature size.

Zooming in...

The front of Macy's opens up periodically as the street with mini cart, chairs and table duck down, and you will see..... (below photo)

Viola!

Look at all those details!!

Even polar bears are doing last minute shopping!

As we enter the NYC subway....

.... there is live music performance just like real subway!!

Even the miniature trash looks like a real thing! #ElfLife

And not surprising, the most minute details are well thought out. Even the dollar bills has washington's head visible with every crease and crinkle.
Most of those props are size of your pinky finger nails!

And of course it won't be a NYC subway without the pizza! Lol

Lord & Taylor has a mini Manhattan on one of their window on Fifth Avenue.

The NYC Taxis keep circling the city just like reality!

Cartier

Even Cartier has their own miniature window!

Tiffany's

Having seen Tiffany's holiday windows every year,
this year, in my opinion, is a little disappointing.

P.S. That is a real round cut diamond solitaire engagement ring on the fish role in case you're wondering!

Saks Fifth Avenue

Saks has turned their windows into a Snow White theme story telling this year.
You can find out more on Saks official site

Henri Bendel

All miniatures from Henri Bendel are made by Phillip Nuveen.

Bergdorf Goodman

Bergdorf is doing their usual extravagant holiday window this year.

Louis Vutton

And Vutton's window is snowing with their logos.

And Calvin Klein is definitely going BIG this year!
