#AutumnNY
Sorry for the delay. There has been so much going on in the past month which I want to share with you all!

One major thing that kept me very busy was all the crazy sales going on in the city. I have done heavy damage to my credit cards which my chéri was definitely not happy about.... I mean who can say no to designer products at such great deals, right? Lol.

This week's blog is more of an informative blog than a photo blog, so be prepared for some reading.

Autumn is so beautiful in New York #CentralPark

Strolling through Central Park to get a closer look of the foliage...

The ending of summer also means the closing of outdoor terraces...

Here it is at LadurĂ©e in Soho which opened this past summer. But don't worry, it will reopen in the spring once the weather gets warmer.

This establishment, on the other hand, will be closed permanently.
WD-50, serves molecular gastronomy and one of the most influential
restaurant, will be closed in the end of November.
I managed to reserve a table to have a fairwell meal at this great restaurant.
Included in the slideshow are photos of some of the more interesting dishes
from my 13 courses adventure + some of his famous signature dishes in the past
including egg benedict, aerated foie gras and instant noodle (in a bowl of soup).

While something closes, there is always something else that opens.
A new flagship LEGO store has recently opened in Flatiron District. Do check out the 3-D LEGO murals depicting iconic city scenes and a Miniland model of NYC, plus an 8-foot Statue of Liberty replica inside this store.

Also new in NY: After years of construction, the new Fulton Street subway
station aka Fulton Center is now opened. The architecture is so interesting
plus there will be shops within the center.

Inspired by Apple store, a new Samsung Galaxy Studio has been opened in spring this year.

Inside the studio, there is a complimentary cafe (serves drinks and small bites), a photo booth and a kids playground.
The best part: They are currently doing 3 weeks trial on Galaxy Note 4. Once you sign up with a deposit, they will provide you a brand new Note 4 along with a prepaid sim card with data plan from a carrier of your choice. If you are interested into a phablet, this is something you should NOT miss!!

After my $1 oyster visit at Grand Central Oyster Bar Brooklyn
earlier this month, I couldn't resist venturing out to their famous
Grand Central location. They have a great daily happy hour special
with $1.25 each on selected options. Their oysters were pretty fresh!

Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant
89 E 42nd St, New York

Can you believe this place is over 100 years old!
The interior is pretty interesting. Do stop by if you are around the neighborhood.

Other exciting events that are worthy of mention in the past month:

As a lot of you know from my FB update, the famous American TV sitcom Friends had opened a pop up cafe in Soho to celebrate its 20th anniversary. It was a replica of Friends hangout Central Perk cafe.
I don't know what is more famous, the show or the line to get into this cafe (longer than cronut).
Here are some of the pictures of the interior.

The Annual Halloween Parade @ West Village:

Here are some participants.

I was dining with some super heroes on the same night...

New York Festival of Light in #Brooklyn

The light-show earlier this month. It was pretty cool!

Bye for now.
