Endangered Species taking over the Empire State Building #NYC

Last night in New York City, a special light show called "Projecting Change" was projected on the Empire State Building for three hours starting at 9pm. It was the creation of Louie Psihoyos, director of the Oscar wining documentary "The Cove" and Travis Threlkel, a digital specialist, behind this stunning show - as a part of Mr. Psihoyos’ next documentary “Racing Extinction”. A looping reel of endangered animals over a space of 375 feet tall and 186 feet wide covering 33 floors on the southern face of the Empire State Building was shown to create public awareness of endangered species conservation.

Here are some of the highlights of this four-year-in-the-making spectacular:

It started with a giant whale sighting at the Empire State Building..

Snow leopard.

And with Mr. Psihoyos' sense of humor, here's the epic finale with King Kong climbing up the famous Empire State Building and setting off the top spiral lights!

Bravo! I enjoyed every moment of it! Good night New York!
