Rainy Day In NYC #Spring #Art #Paris

Spring is finally here in NY!! Temperature is going up, but unfortunately so is the amount of rainfall. It was cloudy and rainy the whole week last week, and I'm starting to miss the sun already.

Although weather was a little depressing, I insisted on going out to explore the city!! So what can you do on a rainy day in NYC?

---- The answer is: Museums!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the most famous art museum in the world :

The entrance.

This museum has all kinds of art from all over the world.
From paintings of Pierre Auguste Renoir...

...Pablo Picasso

and Claude Monet from France...

to art from Maya,

or a real mummy... yes! it's real and sealed inside a glass case!!

I'm not sure how this managed to be displayed in the Met!

or this from Indonesia.
They called this the Body Mask.
Don't ask.

Art can be found everywhere in NY if you look around:

Spotted: the polka dot cement truck in Brooklyn

or this. Lol

As well as in Paris : )

Like this 3D art in front of a building...

or on the side of the wall,

or hanging on the side of the wall (which reminds me of Harry Potter, no? : )..

graffiti

Inside the metro train...

and the stairway in the metro station.

I found those road signs in St. Germain very interesting : )

Hope you enjoy the photos.
Bon week-end y'all!
